    Locals only, bruh.


    "I finally caught a wave without completely eating it—clean drop, stayed on my feet, no reef shoes this time.

    Paddled back out trying to play it cool, but my heart was pounding.

    One of the uncles looked at me, gave a little nod, and said, “Locals only, bruh.”

    I thought I was getting kicked out of the lineup but he grinned and invited me to lunch.

    That's when I knew I was in."
