Stories From the Lineup: Alani Makana

She designed the “Tako” sticker for Aloha Tinyboards (finger sized mini foam surfboard) as part of their Stories from the Lineup series, bringing her playful spirit to the collection.

Alani's got a soft spot for ‘ulu with coconut cream. She like to listen to the ocean while she write poetry.

"Tako and taco are NOT the same thing."

"He was trying so hard to order like a local.

Pointed at the poke bowl and said “I’ll have what she’s having” with full confidence.

One bite in, he froze and whispered, “This taco tastes weird.”

The whole table lost it.

Tentacles weren’t what he expected! Tako is not taco!"
