    Those waves definitely looked smaller from the shore...


    "I was out there getting tossed around like laundry mid-cycle, just trying to survive the set.

    Meanwhile, my friend—who doesn’t even surf—is on the beach, casually eating ice cream.

    When I finally crawl back to shore, they go, “Why didn’t you catch more?” like it’s that easy.

    To be fair, the waves did look smaller from the shore..."
